I tried to tell her.
Really, I did.
I specifically told Dina "do NOT argue on Twitter.
It's the internet equivalent of an API wire".
But did she listen to me... nooo!
Instead, last night beginning at around 3pm and continuing intermittently through 1am CST, Mrs.Lohan defended, scathed, chastised and chided any member of the Twitter nation who engaged her.
Beginning with a rant in criticism of Twitter's 140 character limit, a limit she likened to censoring,
to her diatribes in defense of her evening out,
and rounded out by some chastising in defense of her daughter;
Dina unleashed it from all angles and often, all at the same time. And while I'm certain some of it was heartfelt and de riguer for the tumultuous Lohan School of Celebrity Parenting, I can't help but wonder how much of it was necessary or beneficial. I do know one thing, were I Lindsay or Alie, I would rather my mother not Twitter.
Not at all.
